Shuttle Endeavour moved to launch pad

Orlando, Florida (AFP) May 31, 2009
The US space shuttle Endeavour was rolled to a launch pad at the Kennedy Space Center Sunday in preparation for its space mission later this month, NASA said.

Endeavour's liftoff is targeted for June 13.

The shuttle will take to the International Space Station a Japanese experimental space laboratory.

Bad weather may up-end shuttle launch plans: NASA

Stormy Florida weather may push back the launch of the shuttle Endeavour from mid-June to mid-July, NASA said Thursday, as Mother Nature continued to wreak havoc with the US space program's scheduling.
