The deployment of LizzieSat-3 marks another milestone in Sidus Space's ambitious expansion of its satellite constellation, making it the third satellite launch within a year. Developed and built at Sidus Space's advanced manufacturing facility on Florida's Space Coast, LizzieSat-3 is outfitted with state-of-the-art sensor technology. This includes an Automatic Identification System (AIS) sensor, a high-resolution visual spectrum sensor, and the HEO Holmes Imager, designed to support maritime surveillance, environmental monitoring, and non-Earth imaging operations. The satellite also incorporates an upgraded version of Sidus' proprietary artificial intelligence system, enhancing on-orbit data processing capabilities and reducing latency in data transmission.
