XcelPlus Global Holdings is reporting positive reviews from customers using its new alternative, renewable biofuel. "The universal response we have had from our customers is that this is the best fuel they have ever burned," said John Parker, President of Freedom Fuels, a sales arm of XcelPlus Global.
Garrett Pass, Area Manager of Wiregrass Construction in Montgomery, AL, echoed the sentiments of other XcelPlus Global customers.
"The fuel is working well and ADEM (Alabama Department of Environmental Management) loves it," said Pass.
XcelPlus biofuel is produced with a proprietary process using waste byproducts from biodiesel production.
As such, it qualifies as a "green" fuel, offsetting fossil fuel consumption and reducing the carbon emissions that result from burning fossil fuels.
"We have been burning the BFO-1 formula at our Montgomery facility for the last month and will begin using it at four additional locations over next few weeks," added Pass.
XcelPlus continues to develop new business, and has had recent success in the Southeast. "Florida will be our next hot growth area, as permitting there is almost complete," said J. Michael Parsons, president, XcelPlus Global Holdings.
"We'll begin deliveries in early September to our largest customer, which has more than 30 manufacturing facilities in Florida. We've been meeting with these new customers and helping them with the permitting process. Plus, we have eight additional companies in the pipeline that will continue to add sales over the next 60 to 90 days."
