Mass Megawatts Wind Power has received $35,000 from the sale of wind turbine parts to a private energy plant developer for a pilot project of future joint ventures related to building wind power plants.
In this project and future proposed projects, Mass Megawatts supplies the technology and key components while the energy plant development company provides financing and much of the site construction activity.
The pilot project is identical to the United States Army Project located next to the Black Tower Unmanned Aircraft Facility at Fort Huachuca, Arizona.
In other recent news, Mass Megawatts will focus much of its time and energy towards establishing its home (residential) and small commercial turbine market.
This 5kW "Mini-Mat," as previously announced, will capitalize on the ITC (Investment Tax Credit) of up to $4,000 in Federal taxes for purchasers, not to mention any state tax credits, grants, rebates or other additional incentives.
In effect, the buyer could make a $4,000 down-payment and receive this rebate the following tax year. Mass Megawatts' financing the balance over a 10yr period would effectively, at sufficient wind speed locations, makes the investment immediately profitable. The market across the country is extremely large.
